Target - BREMEN. Attack carried out from 12,000 feet with 3/1,000 lb and 12 containers 8 x 30lb incendiaries, Target was not in sight owing to 9/10ths cloud. Bombs were thought to drop in centre of wood on N.E. side, identified on way out. Reflections of burst were seen on clouds. Three distinct flashes and a big glow. Large fire probably in Emden seen on way home at 0240 hours. Time of attack 0205 hours.

Target - BREMEN. (Bombed possibly Marshalling Yard in OLDENBERG district). Owing to 10/10ths cloud Captain could not locate Primary so decided to bomb a railway yard seen through a gap in the cloud. This was carried out with 3/1,000 lb. and 12 containers of 8 x 30 lb. incendiaries. Bombs fell across the yard, bursts were seen and incendiaries caused a really large blaze.
Time of attack 0208 hours.
