December 1-2, Reception comittee found on Lle Tariec. Stores landed. Weather then deteriorated rapidly and only 1 of 3 surf boats regained MGB with 7 evaders. MGB left area at 0450 hrs and regained Falmouth 1720 hrs on Deceber 2. S/Lt Pollard and 5 Naval personnel were left ashore. |

December 23, Ist attempt unsuccessfull owing to impossible weather conditions at PinPoint. December 25, 2nd attempt successfull, 28 people embarked including 6 Section 'O' personnel, 2 women and remaining evaders and escapers. A 25 foot surf boat was towed over and used successfully. |

MGB 318 was eventually paid off and moored in the River Dart. It was later towed to the River Teign and converted to a houseboat. The last known information indicated that it was finally burnt out, but this hasn't been verified.
